My Favorite MTV Videos from the 80s

The 80s were a golden era for music videos, thanks to the rise of MTV and the creativity of artists and directors. There were so many iconic videos that defined the decade, from pop to rock to rap. Here are some of my personal favorites, in no particular order:

Take on Me – A-Ha: This video is a masterpiece of animation and live action, blending a comic book style with a romantic story. The song is catchy and upbeat, and the video is full of memorable scenes, such as the pencil sketch chase and the final embrace.

Andraé Crouch, RIP

Andraé Crouch is known for recording songs like The Blood Will Never Lose Its Power, My Tribute (To God Be the Glory) and Soon and Very Soon. But he also worked with artists like Madonna and Michael Jackson. The LA Church of God choir was featured in this Madonna video.
