In this Calvin and Hobbes cartoon, Calvin's mom has prepared a vegetarian meal for dinner, much to his dismay. As he sits at the table staring at the plate of vegetables, he turns up his nose and declares that he refuses to eat it. He announces that he's decided he only wants to eat desserts from now on.

No resolutions

Calvin says to Hobbes, "Resolutions? ME?? Just what are you implying? That I need to CHANGE?? Well, buddy, as far as I'M concerned, I'm perfect the way I AM! — I don’t make resolutions, I set goals

I love Calvin’s imagination. TJ can be like this sometimes.

One day, TJ was running from the hallway and diving onto our bed, doing somersaults. One time he hit so hard that he punched a hole in the wall. He could have used a tailhook.
