Stupid Bits

There are times when I wish I could say this to some of my customers.

Stupid Bits

Time Warp

People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint — it’s more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly… time-y wimey… stuff.

Is British Chocolate Superior?

Hershey’s lawsuit sparks British revolt for ‘superior’ Cadbury chocolatehttp://troms.me/6zm

Brits may think their chocolate is better, but there’s nothing that beats a Hershey’s Kiss for the perfect bite of chocolate.

Tailhook

I love Calvin’s imagination. TJ can be like this sometimes.

Tailhook

One day, TJ was running from the hallway and diving onto our bed, doing somersaults. One time he hit so hard that he punched a hole in the wall. He could have used a tailhook.

Kahlúa and Cream

Here’s my new recipe for a non-alcoholic version of the classic.

Kahlúa K-KupIngredients:
1 Kahlúa K-cup pack
2 Scoops of Coffee  ice cream
Sweetener
Ice cubes

Directions:
Prep your Keurig coffee machine. If you can, set the machine for strong brew, 10 Oz.  Place ice cream in a large mug. Brew coffee directly into mug. This will melt the ice cream and cause foam on the top. Add sweetener and ice to taste.

Cyber-bullying

Forget detention: Illlinois students might have to forfeit their Facebook passwords http://troms.me/6z9

Cracked Facebook LogoSo in order to stop cyber-bullying, the state and the schools are going to bully children into giving up their social media passwords? That doesn’t make any sense.

  1. Giving out your Facebook password or requiring others to give you their Facebook password violates the Facebook terms of service.
  2. If you’re not accessing Facebook from school computers, then they have no right to violate your privacy.
  3. Even if you’re a student in a public school, you have a reasonable right to privacy. The 4th and 5th Amendments still apply.

My response: Come back with a search warrant and even then I’ll assert my 5th Amendment rights.
