To be clear, I’m not someone who thinks lots of government agencies should be abolished (maybe a few), but we should always question our institutions, as this strengthens the bedrock of democracy.
It’s finally here! I supported a Kickstarter campaign for a REO Chef Knife a few months ago. It’s 33 layers of premium Damascus steel on each side; the cutting core is VG10 high-carbon steel with an extremely sharp edge. Why did I want such a fancy knife? My wife and I often watch Forged in Fire on the Discovery channel, and I’ve said, “I’d like a knife like that one” more than once.
This Kickstarter campaign was my chance to get a professional-grade chef knife at a reasonable price.
The first thing I did after unboxing was to try and shave some hair off my arm. LOL. It worked! Next up, try to slice some fruit or vegetables. I cut a lemon and got slices so thin you could see through them. I’ll be using this knife every time I cook!
My son is learning a trade he intends to use when he graduates. If he goes to college at all it will be part-time for a technical degree.
When I was a kid, my parents pushed college on me pretty regularly. Given, they were a product of their time when Universities actually meant something. It's up to Millennials and Gen Z to break that pressure on children and steer them away. https://t.co/upIMXfaDN8
