Jon Dorenbos Deserves to win America’s Got Talent
Jon is the best act in the finals of America’s Got Talent! He deserves to win, he’s amazing.

Let’s run down Jon’s competition and what I think about all of them.
- Grace VanderWaal, I hate ukuleles. I don’t get why America voted her into the finals.
- I absolutely hate Brian Justin Crum. He’s ruined every 80s song he sang, hate the arrangements including the one he sang last night, Man in the Mirror.
- The Clairvoyants just scare me. Why are Australians on an American show? Shouldn’t they be on Australia’s Got Talent?
- Tape face is just weird, I hate mimes. A Londoner doesn’t deserve to win America’s Got Talent.
- Linkin’ Bridge is the only other act that earned the win. I loved their performance of Free Bird in an earlier round. Who would have thought 5 black guys from Kentucky could do justice to a Lynyrd Skynyrd classic.
- I like Sofie Dossi and “Sal the Voice”, but not as much as Jon.
- Laura Breten is not a true opera singer. At her age she doesn’t have enough life experience to really put emotion into her songs.
- Victor Kee was OK, but I think his make-up makes him a little weird. He’s another foreign performer who is on the wrong show.

The Doctor’s New Companion Announced
The Doctor’s new companion has been revealed and it looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun. Actress Pearl Mackie will take on the role of Bill. We don’t know much about her, but we know she will meet the Daleks.

Add some great acting, and a fascinating conspiracy that’s unfolding in the hazy realm between our dystopian nightmares and hard reality. That’s Mr. Robot, which debuted last night on USA.

I didn’t think the first episode was particularly thrilling, except maybe for the part where they’re trying to keep the virus from reaching a server. (And I didn’t think it was particularly accurate.) The show is overtly political, wasn’t too hard to figure out that Evil Corp. was really Enron. Somebody from the MoveOn or Occupy Wall Street crowd must have written major parts of the script.
I really want to like this show, so I hope for better in the next episode…
