Life is kind of like a party

You invite a lot of people, some leave early, some stay all night, some laugh with you, some laugh at you, and some show up late. But in the end, after the fun, a few stay to help you clean up the mess. And most of the time, they aren’t even the ones who made the mess. These people are your true friends in life. They are the only ones who matter.

Although the attitude of meditation is effortless, the commitment to sit each day requires an undeniable effort, however gentle.

Kindness

When we’re kind to another person, it doesn’t matter if we’re seen or acknowledged. What’s important is our willingness to be kind.

Headspace

We’re not ignoring, chasing, or rejecting thoughts. We’re seeing them clearly, acknowledging them, and letting go.

Headspace

We meditate to remind ourselves that, like the blue sky, our enlightened nature is always with us. Even when it’s obscured by clouds.

Throughout the day, try to catch the mind when it wanders off and notice if it’s thinking or feeling.
