Imagine a show that combines the anti-corporate<\/a> craziness of Fight Club<\/a> with the subversive hacker heroism of The Matrix<\/a>. Add some great acting, and a fascinating conspiracy that\u2019s unfolding in the hazy realm between our dystopian nightmares and hard reality. That\u2019s Mr. Robot<\/a>, which debuted last night on USA.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

I didn\u2019t think the first episode was particularly thrilling, except maybe for the part where they\u2019re trying to keep the virus from reaching a server. (And I didn\u2019t think it was particularly accurate.) The show is overtly political, wasn\u2019t too hard to figure out that Evil Corp. was really Enron<\/a>. Somebody from the MoveOn<\/a> or Occupy Wall Street<\/a> crowd must have written major parts of the script.<\/p>\n
