Mom said it was going to snow.
I answered and said, "No."

God our Father, you see your children growing up in an unsteady and confusing world: Show them that your ways give more life than the ways of the world, and that following you is better than chasing after selfish goals. Help them to take failure, not as a measure of their worth, but as a chance for a new start. Give them strength to hold their faith in you, and to keep alive their joy in your creation; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Rachel is so proud of our Christmas tree this year. She did almost 100% of the decorating. Of course, her little bother has taken off lots of ornaments that she's had to put back on time after time.

The Haunted House

On a late Halloween night, I heard a spooky noise. I got out of bed to see what it was. I couldn't find where the noise was coming from. Then, I heard it again. It was coming from the haunted house right next to us.

Next, I went over to the house. I went in and the noise became louder. Then I heard a loud scream. The scream scared me, but I couldn't get out, I was lost.

Next, I saw a small girl about three years old, she had no hair and her face was bleeding. Then, I saw what was making the noise, it was a huge flying vampire jack-in-the-box.

It started chasing me all over the haunted house. It chased me straight out the door then he stopped, because he couldn't leave his house. I ran back to my house.

AAAHHH! I woke up in my own bed. My mom came in and said, "What's the matter?" I said, "I had the scariest dream,it was about a flying vampire jack-in-the-box." My mom told me, "It was just a bad dream, go back to sleep now."
