  • The Rural Broadband Myth
Finally, high-speed Internet is coming to rural America, and to hear the Obama Administration tell it, not a minute too soon. Rural America has fallen into a communication abyss, but don’t worry the Government is here to help, and it’s only going to cost 4 billion dollars.
I wouldn’t want government built broadband., would you?  I mean, look at Amtrak.
  • Obama Administration faces criticism from press
White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs faced some tough questions today, first from CBS reporter Chip Reid and then from Helen Thomas. The issue was that the Obama Administration is stacking the deck at town hall meetings and isn’t being transparent.
If you’re going to plant questioners in the audience, don’t make it so easy to find the connection with the administration. Obama was good at dealing with the press during the campaign, guess the honeymoon is over.

    1. Christians Support Obama?

I did read the link. I left a comment there, as well, although it wasn’t nearly as long-winded as this one was.

It may have been a “knee-jerk” reaction — and for that I apologize. I kept quiet throughout the election, hoping that after November 4th. Christians would stop being so hateful. The article you linked, however, touched a wound that hasn’t healed yet.

I know you didn’t call Obama the anti-christ, the e-mail my mother forwarded me several months ago did. Sorry if that wasn’t clear.

I don’t think Christians should support all his policies. They shouldn’t hate the man because of his policies. In fact, they shouldn’t hate, period.

I’m assuming you didn’t bother to read the story I linked to, your rant seems like a knee-jerk reaction to anything “Christian.”

      I don’t think Obama is the anti-Christ.

Of course I want Obama’s policies to fail, he’s ruining the country. He claims every bill he’s signed is a “jobs bill,” but unemployment is still climbing.

I was against faith-based initiatives when Bush created the office of faith-based initiatives. Christians should always avoid entanglements with the government.

I’m not obsessed with Obama, I am saddened by what he is doing to our country. I hope we look back on the Obama years the same way we look back on the Carter years. I hope our next President will be more like Reagan.
