Holiday Greetings Family and Friends

We started out 2004 with the birth of our son Thomas James "TJ" on January 28. He continues to grow and change every day. So far this year we have seen him learn to roll over, crawl, climb the stairs, say mama, stand by him self and even take a few steps on his own. He has cut 5 teeth and there are 2 more on their way. He has a great love for his big sister. He laughs and smiles at her like he does for no one else. He flirts with the girls no matter what age and brings lots of smiles and happiness wherever he goes. He is an active little boy with great curiosity. He doesn't know a stranger (at least not yet); he likes everyone! We look forward to what 2005 has in store for him.

Rachel has grown up so much this year. She started her year playing basketball for our church team. She was the only girl on the team. She did very well. This summer she swam on a swim team. She competed in the Medley Relay, Freestyle Relay, Freestyle, Breaststroke, and Backstroke. Her strongest event is backstroke. She got ribbons in all her events. She spoke at Toastmasters doing Little Red Hood and beat her dad for best speaker of the day. She also won a ribbon for first time speaker. This fall she started taking ballet at Greenville ballet and is looking forward to playing a soldier in the Nutcracker the weekend of December 10. She continues in Girl Scouts. This is her third year as a Brownie. She has earned 39 out of 57 possible Try-Its. Right now the girls are pre-selling cookie and to date she has sold 132 boxes. She has decided to play basketball again this year. Our church is participating in Upward a Christian based basketball program. The children can earn stars to wear on their shirts each week for meeting one of several different Christ like qualities as they play. They have weekly devotions and scripture verses to memorize. She is part of the challenge program at her school and is doing well. She is a straight A student. .

Auburn continues to stay at home. She began teaching first grade children at church in September and is enjoying them very much. Auburn also had a hysterectomy in September and has recovered quickly from the procedure.

Jason continues to work for A-Hold. They will be selling off Bi-Lo and letting them know who the buyer is on Thursday, which Thursday we do not know, as this has been the word since spring. Jason is a part of Toastmasters, a public speaking club, and has earned several awards. He plays guitar at church. He is helping teach the ninth grade boys at church in Sunday school.

From our house to yours we wish you a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

Love,
Jason, Auburn
Rachel and TJ
