Twenty-three weeks

I joined the YMCA so that I could swim and get exercise. I am enjoying it. It makes me feel so much better, although I do get very tired afterward. I think taking so much weight and stress off my body is worth it though.

Rachel and I walked in the Walk to Cure Diabetes, Sat. Oct. 4 at Furman University. It was a 3 mile walk. We did most of it minus a little short cut to avoid a giant hill. I didn't think I could make it and knew Rachel would not be able to ride her scooter up.

As far as I know baby is doing very well. He movements are getting a little harder and they are moving higher up in my body. I feel a lot around the bellybutton. It is cute and I often want to laugh out loud. When I am by myself I will make a comment to the little one. So far he seems to like music.

His play times are almost predictable now. In the morning between 6 and 9, in the afternoon around 3 to 5 and then in the evenings around 8 to 9:30. I can't stay up much past 9:30.

Rolling over in bed is becoming a real chore already. I am surprised my grunts and groans don't wake up Jason, but I think he could sleep through anything.

My next OB appointment is Oct. 16 and that will include a blood glucose test, for gestational diabetes.
