I had an OB appointment this morning. How exciting, Rachel, Jason and I got to hear baby's heartbeat. It is amazing to me how fast it beats. Doctor said that it sounds good. Rachel says hearing the baby's heartbeat was, "cool."
Having some pain today and doctor says it is probably ligaments that are starting to stretch. When I first went into the doctor's office they took my blood pressure, it was elevated so they had me lay on my left side for about 10 minutes in the exam room before the nurse came in to check it again. It was much lower. I will go in next week just to get my blood pressure checked.
Had some feeling of possible movement by baby the past 2 days. Doctor said with a second pregnancy I could already be feeling baby move. I don't know if it is baby or just excessive gas. Doctor said I should be feeling baby moving in the next month.
Rachel and I had an excellent time at the beach playing in the waves and enjoying the sunshine. She and I played miniature golf one morning. It was very hot at Tribal Island where we played. Shade was little consoluation as it was so hot. It was good exercise for me bending over to constantly pick up my ball and the score sheet. At one point I thought I might pass out. We had a good time together.
